We all know, (or should know), that hamburger is listed with fat content. 80/20 being 80 percent meat and 20 percent fat. likewise, 75 percent meat and 25 percent fat. But did you know, that there may be “other stuff” in the hamburger you buy? This other stuff is basically fillers. It can range from “natural” things to chemicals to even flower or really all kinds of things. Making this even more complicated, (or troubling) is that these fillers may not even be specifically listed on the label. So what’s a hamburger lover to do? Well, as with all things food in the grocery store, start by reading that label to gleen as much information as you can to make that informed decision of what to spent your hard earned cash on as well as get the most tasty and healthy hamburger.
